Royal Enfield always retains its old style. Those are some really muscular bikes.

Is that Red-chrome for Indian market? Seems an export only model like Battle green. Version named abroad as Electra deluxe, no machismo there.

which one is best re thunderbird or classic

Dear Mr. Rocky kanth,
There is not much difference because thunder bird and classic 350 has same engine, and same power. But Thunderbird is more easy and comfortable in driving as compared to classic.

i am using thunderbird since March 2010 and crossed 11,000 kms.
I haven’t faced much problem but there are some issues which has to be seen:-
1. The electric cable of classic and thunderbird gets damage due to battery water. In one case i have seen that due to electric sort.. the whole bike caught fire and was burned fully.

2. Both the bike are totally dependent on battery if battery does not work u can’t start the bike……..

3. And the spare parts are not easy to find even at bullet workshop or dealer.

4. MOst of the nut-bolts are allen-key nut bolts which are not that easy to find. Many parts of latest bullets which are 2010 models are only available after weeks time.

if u r a die hard fan of bullet then buy it.

if u want ownership of bullet with mileage then buy classic 350 thunderbird, electra or standard with UCE engine. (but not classic 500)
and
if u want the thumbing with lesser mileage then u buy second hand models manufactured till December 2009.

Dear Athul,

no, standard model does not come with self start,
but if self start is not essential for u and colour black suits ur choice then i recommend u to buy it because,
1. engine of standard bullet is same in classic 350, thunderbird and electra.
2. if u have some confusion about disc brake then let me clarify u that the front brake of standard bullet is very effective and same compared to disc brake ….

with my best wishes,,,,,,,,,,,and hope this diwali u bring one of these models at ur home and make ur life enjoyable.

having a bullet is same as,
having a wife after marriage.

and it happens once in life so take ur time and decide…………….
with lots of love and best wishes,
