Royal Enfield Working on a 650-700cc Parallel Twin

Royal Enfield is certainly making news these days. First the news of introducing their new two brands to the U.S market then a multi fuel motorcycle and last but not the least a powerful parallel twin engine. Yes, Royal Enfield is working on a 650-700cc parallel twin. This bike manufacturer is leaving no stone unturned and have decided to take this automobile industry by storm.

Royal Enfield is planning to build a never ending goodwill for their company and as a result they are planning to increase their production capacity by many folds. Now that the company has a new production capacity at Andhra Pradesh, it is planning to produce some higher displacement models that will each sport a 650- 700cc parallel twin engine.

Me. Venki Padmanabham (CEO, Royal Enfield) said at Progressive International Motorcycle Show in New York that the company is looking to add more and powerful models to its product catalogue. He further said that these new powerful bikes will be fitted with parallel twins displacing 650-700cc.

Royal Enfield has decided to come up with this sort of an idea because the buying power of people is day by day on a rise and people are willing to spend on things that get bigger and better. So all of the Royal Enfield fans get prepared to see some real power as the project is already underway. Also, the company is planning to bring in high powered diesel motorcycles. As of now, Café Racer Bullet seems to be in pipeline and may see the light of the day by the year 2012. This certainly seems like a good start for Royal Enfield in this New Year. We at BikeAdvice hope that it continues to develop and roll powerful models out.
