Yesterday was a shocker of a day for all of us as Hero took everyone by surprise by unveiling some ground breaking products. We have talked about a few of them already, let us list and share details of all the 5 new unveils.
List of 5 New Hero Products:
- HX250R
- RNT Diesel
- Xtreme Sports
- Leap Electric
- Dash
First up, let us talk about the motorcycles which they unveiled.
HX250R:
This is the most exciting new product coming from the stables of Hero till now. HX250R, developed in conjunction with EBR, is Hero’s first quarter liter motorcycle and has signalled the arrival in style. It produces 31PS of power output and a zero to 60kmph dash in under 3 seconds.

Hero RNT Diesel Bike:
Yes, it is not a prank! Hero has officially unveiled a diesel bike concept called as RNT. It has a liquid cooled 13.5hp of power and a whooping 35Nm of torque. The most striking feature of RNT is that it is a 2 Wheel Drive bike!!!

Xtreme Sports:
Along with these mind blowing products, Hero also unveiled Xtreme Sports, a more powerful version of Xtreme which produces 15.2bhp of power from its 149.2cc mill. It also carries a slightly different design than even the facelifted Xtreme that will be launched in our market soon.

Moving to Scooters, here are a couple of products that Hero unveiled yesterday.
Leap Electric Scooter
Hero unveiled India’s first production electric-serial-hybrid scooter which is powered by a 124cc engine which has a top speed of 100kmph (with the range extender).
It is powered by lithium-ion batteries and an 8 KW electric traction motor. Transmission duties are performed via belt drive from the motor to the wheel. It carries a 240mm front disc brake and 130mm rear drums.
Leap has a 13 inch front tyre and an 11 inch rear tyre. It has a fuel tank capacity of 3 liters and kerb weight of 140kgs.
Hero Dash Scooter
Hero has announced yet another offering in the 110cc scooter segment called as Dash. Dash is a modern looking 111cc air cooled scooter which produces 8.44bhp of power and 9.4Nm of torque. It has some interesting features like key with e-code, service due and side stand warning lights at the console.
