Yamaha has also revealed the official prices of the much-awaited motorcycle and it is competitively priced at 28 million Indonesian Rupiah (OTR), which translates down to 1.47 lac Indian rupees. In contrast, the Honda CBR 150R is priced at 30 million Indonesian Rupiah (roughly 1.6 Lac Indian rupees).

The R15 has been showcased last month at the Bangkok Motor Show as well, so there are strong rumours that the bike will make its way to Thailand too.

The R15 will be available in Indonesia via bank finance as well, in collaboration with Bussan Auto Finance with easy monthly instalments varying from 6 million to 11.5 million. The duration of loan also varies from 11 months to 35 months.

The delta box frame technically sound motorcycle is sure to ‘Rev the Hearts’ of many Indonesians who have been waiting for a more affordable small capacity, performance oriented bike for a long time.

Yamaha has already been selling the naked version of the R15, labelled as the Vixion, in a lesser tuned version for quite some time now.
