mate the bike was launched on 12th may so i don’t think before that but this has not yet hit showrooms i asked my dealer whom i know well he has told expected date of arrival end of 1 week from now not before and waiting time will be long
Launch of this bike is due in Mumbai, and is on 14th May.
Bike spotted in photos is on Highway near Thane, on 12th May.
Hey Pranav/Adi, The Pictures were Taken on 12/5/2010 7.30pm to 7.33pm, In a Sony Ericsson K660i @ 2 megapixels. The Photographer stood 1-1.5 Meters Away from the Bike while taking the Pictures. The Pictures are Hazy Coz the Photographer did not enable “Night Mode”. So No More Confusions about the Pictures. Now talk about the Bike.

Guys the front looks are impressive just like cb twister but the rear looks aren’t upto the mark ,it is killing the entire visual appearance

a touch of twister has made it spicy! rest i can guess the bike has not met the expectation of people! the muscles are bit varying throughout the frame and in accordance with tech specs, power should be high!
after a long wait it launched………..
yesterday i went to honda showroom to check it, its a good bike but no so tempting like fz16 but yes it is more practical bike due to good space seat, decent power and milage figure,good riding postur.It may pick slow initially but will make a good position for itself like unicorn.Due to its practicalty a family man also can buy this.and it is a good value for money product.

When Can we expect review or first ride brief of this product. If someone has any info/opinion about this product please share it as I am planning to sell my old Stunner and buy this one….
quality of engine and all other cosmetic and visible changes are Ok but non visible parts like frame, rear swingarm,mufflers.welding quality is very poor defective welding leads to corrode.and visible quality also poor.best compare HH products welding.
i inspect in honda show room in chennai.HONDA need to take care of all these things because quality needs all the parts.I take photos of defective welding in model piece of bike
It resembles Hero Honda Hunk
The concept of this bike stole from Hunk. Just take the two bike in front of you will know. The Fuel tank, head light, body. Whatever! I love this bike Digital speedo, front n back hydrulic, mono suspension…. Awesome!!!

I enquired for dazzler and found it has same engine which is used in UNICORN with an increment in the BHP rest only the style is same but i didn’t get the test ride so i can’t tell much about it.
Anybody who have taken its test ride please let me know which is better, the older unicorn or dazzler

I dont agree with u. Ya some similarity between hunk and dazzler is there, but its definately not stolen! When dazzler first displayed in auto expo, the first shot I remembered is Hondas own CB1000R, which itself had very aggresive and attractive looks. The side cawl, style, headlight & even back section inspired by the 1000 cc monster. Both Twister & Dazzler is inspired by same design. Why should Honda stole an idea from subsidery, when own model design appreciated by critics?

the back look is hunk/CBZ .
though it may be inspired by CB1000R, we will recognize it alongwith Hunk as we are used to see Hunk more on the roads. The difference is not very evident. Some guys even asked me if I modified a Hunk..
Hey I took test ride twice.
It was ok ok in looks if we compare with fz16, or pulsar. Colors are good but those who like the unicorn then go with it. In unicorn its firing is so calm but here its not that much great. Also they tried to make it very sporty but its not good in looks . I think only mileage is good 60 km per lit. They are make bad shaped in rear tail lamp. not much as good as expected 
front look is not better as older version…but digital meter is nice…rear disk makes more nice…

I have taken only..1 test ride & booked…the bike. I had neither test ride the old unicorn. Since there r many critic of this bike..may be b’coz of design or price..but..if any one check in b’lore old unicorn is 71 & dazzler is 75k..so..aprrox in 4k diff..one is getting rear disk brake,tubeless type, & changed new look…i dont think its that bad deal. Since its unicorn engine,i definatly can rely on this..only prob i find is waiting period..dealer was saying it will take 20 days 2 reach …those who had test ride..pls..let ur view here. I am waiting for bikeadvice ppl…to give feedback..pls..let us know..

i am new here…i got my Unicorn CB after the launch of dazzler..and i don’t regret my decision..the look of the bike is a bit sporty but does it hav the firepower to be really called a sports bike…neither its a commuter nor is a sporty one..its in between somewhr..
every bike has to hav one feature which wil distinguish itself frm others…Unicorn is a silent killer and the current dazzler has neither a sporty sound of engine like the apache nor is a silent killer…again in betn somewhr
i wud say for all the one’s who r plannin on this bike…dont b in denial once u hav the bike with u

Thanks for your reply. Ya I am also thinking of booking this bike. I had planned for an unicorn or GSR early. But changed my mind after Dazzler got released. I liked its looks better and also there’s significant reductionin in weight. Feels that this bike is worth the extra 4k or so you are paying w.r.t unicorn. Btw which show room did you approach in bnglore?

well i have neither had test ride of apache or pulser..or any bike.I had checked FZ..but paying only for..looks,i dont think..i should. Also rear seat is so small in FZ.
Old unicorn..n GS150 have same contemporary looks..nothing gr8.
Ppl..even criticized pular135..which BIKEADVICE..also.. cribbed…but now everyone is saying different story.
let c what happens to this bike.
ANIL:if..ur thinking to book,then book asap,as waiting for any honda bike is high..since it is refundable amount…so..u have enough time to think also.My dazzler might come next week.let c.I booked..in DreamHonda Whitefeild.as i stay near that area.

There is one more modification that there is no kick start in dazzler. It will be considered as drawback or +ve point, like by any chance if battery goes down then there is no way to start it.
This is a much smaller Baby unicorn, which is very overpriced. Old unicorn had 18-inch wheels but this has smaller 17-inch wheels. It is not sporty because it does not have clip-on handle bars. It is not an exective/family bike because of half chain cover.
Honestly, if this bike was made by Bajaj or TVS, we all would be condemning it right now. Dont praise it just because it is a Honda.
It is not a streamlined commuter bike like old unicorn or new Suzuki Gs150r, nor is it macho-looking like Apache or Pulsar, nor is it stylish like Fz16. Even the twister looks better. This is meant to dazzle the village folk, which is primarily herohonda’s market.

1. is tubeless tyre advantageous over normal ones…….
2. will half chain cover cause any maintaince prob in long run…..
3. How bout low power battery…..(its not a prob in my opinion)…
4. Moreover is dazzler worth( or better) than Cb Uni….

I think that’s a good bike but still not satisfied with looks. as i have taken its test drive. Honda should improve its bike’s structure more like “ducatti”.

i dont like this bike look its ughly and little little copy of fz .fz is best bike in these days this bike is not so good.i saw back side of side and bike was fully copied with fz
As per as price is concerned it is on a higher side.

first of all!thanks a lot 4 giving up such a researched information for free!!but do a favour 2 me!!i already own a couple of unicorn models of 2005-06,but i have been waitin for a unicorn like bike in yamaha!! i mean!!economical and reliable!!but i think my wait is over.yamaha had launched a new 150 named SZ!the bike looks great in the premium class economical segment!!so!!all i had 2 say is!!pls giv me a complete information about the yamaha sz!!pls do it fast!!!bye bye!!!
I thought to buy this unicorn, but model shocks me, its only the double disc/ what to do, i’m not impressed really, but the selling will not goes bad hope so/

I’m planning to buy a Honda Unicorn Dazzler within next 10-15 days. I test drive the same and satisfied with the engine and over all performance.
But suddenly the day I went to book the bike, some one told me that fixing an additional side box (to carry useful items) is very difficult with Unicorn Dazzler due to it’s mono suspension design. Proper fittings of additional box is most important to me as I hate to carry bags or and other items while riding a bike.
Some of the shops selling such boxes saying they can easily fix the carry box to Dazzler.
Requesting for your views and suggestions at the earliest. Any Dazzler users ..please help…
