Today, HSMI launched the CB Twister at the Auto Expo. The bike has a 110cc mill which will produce 9 BHP of power. To enhance stability and maneuverability – rigid twin pipe frames and V-Shaped alloy wheels have been provided.
The CB Twister also features tubeless tyres which is quite new to this segment. The company claims that the bike will deliver a mileage of 70 kmpl!
The ex-showroom price in Delhi is
- Rs. 41,850 (Kick-Drum)
- Rs. 44,850 (Self – Drum)
- Rs. 47,850 (Self – Disc)
The CB Twister is expected to hit the Indian roads by Feb 2010

Honda could have priced it better, the 100cc segment is very price sensitive.

Does this color really available [red/white combination]. I had been to HONDA showroom in pune but they didn’t have this color twister! Only red, yellow, green, blue & black are availalbe in the pune showroom. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WILL I GET HIS RED/WHITE COLORED HONDA TWISTER 110cc IN PUNE?? i pirchase this bike.really it’s a awesome bike compare to other bike in honda.if u want ot take in the range of 50-60k thn buy it as soon as possible.no doubt overall it’s feature is fentastic.but one problem is there it’s back tire is so narrow.but in the sense of maintanance nd milage “CB-TWISTER” is good.nd according to me HONDA prepare this bike for couple.

Hello friends,
My sincere advice to new buyers of Twister. Opt for Disk brakes.
Don’t use any of free service.. they are servicing more than 100 vehicles per day so they wont give much attention to your new ride and they will try to finish as soon as possible to attend more vehicles. so your vehicle will be reassembled without proper attention and this will lead to decrease in mileage and riding problems.
If you wanna get good mileage and ride your bike in a good condition, give your bike to a local shop to whom u know and the person who does better in it. so your vehicle will be good.
Maintenance:
Don’t wash the bike yourself,coz this will lead to rusting of steel parts in your bike.so give it in a wash shop so once they washed they will use some fluid to prevent your bike from rusting.
When you are starting your bike(either kick or self) just off the head lights and on it after your started the bike.This might save some battery usage.
Don’t use the self always, use the kicker when you starting a bike for the first time every day and in the started condition leave your bike for 30-50 seconds before you start riding.coz this will make the oil flow through all veins of the engine and make the engine warm up.
When you are going for a longer ride more than 300-500 in a single shot just make sure that your carburetor is clean before you start moving by giving bike in local service shop.
One main thing ..When you are applying brake suddenly don’t pressure back brake very hard. this might lead you to crash coz the tires are slippery.
To get a good mileage:
Don’t change the factory tires for better grip
remove the unnecessary parts like saree guard etc…
Be a single user.
In petrol bunks they used to put lesser amt of petrol so check the bunks wisely which petrol bunks petrol is giving good mileage so put only on that bunk.
Put petrol only on morning and night times coz when you putting petrol by noon,Little amt of petrol will be evaporated because of the prevailing heat condition.
Change the oil of the bike periodically and don’t postpone the services. do in a regular intervals like 2 months once.
Ride the twister with in 45-50 k mph to get a mileage over 75.
Don’t rash the bikes and don’t give unnecessary throttle.
And once you bought the bike until the first service ride under 45 co’z this is the starting stage of bike so don’t rash and this is the time when your ride sets up.
Even if you are giving for dealer service just make sure they are not opening the engine. Just make use of the engine oil and minor faults like nut loose,brake adjustment with them.Don’t go for overall servicing. this might ruin the bike.If any further clarification required,Reply me through this post.
