Owning a Suzuki GSX1000R Video or ‘Gixxer ‘as it is commonly referred to as is my long time dream . In fact, I even work on plans to buy this at some point of time. For me, if it’s a perfect track machine, it has to be the Gixxer. The white and blue colour scheme is the best I’ve ever seen on a bike and I spend time looking at it wherever I see this.

Suzuki has already shared its details of the 2012 model which is now an old news. I found this video when I was browsing and found it pretty impressive. Moreover, the entire video features my favourite colour of this bike. Here, I share this video for you all to enjoy. The video of a bike which invites to own a track!

How do you like this video and the bike in particular? Leave your thoughts and comments in the form of words below.

Original Source: Suzuki Access 125 Review by Venkata from BikeAdvice.in

Hi readers this is Venkata and over the next couple of minutes I would like to take you all to a journey on my Suzuki Access 125. I own Suzuki Access 125; however I wanted to buy a bike with gears but my wife didn’t like bikes with gears, so I thought of buying a gearless Scooter. After Searching in the market for about 2 months I thought I would buy Honda Activa but when I went to showroom and asked for Honda Activa they said it would take around 8 months to deliver and price here in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh region is 59,000 rupees, on road.

Again I was in great dilemma and was not able to decide on what to do further. One of my friends who also owns a Suzuki Access 125 advised me to go for the scooter he was using. At first I was a bit hesitant if I was making a wrong choice by going for a scooter other than Honda Activa, however I decided to go for Suzuki Access 125. So on 1-Jan-2011 I went Vallurupalli motors in Vijayawada (dealers of Suzuki). So the dealers said that it would take one or two months for me to get my hands on the scooter but then again I requested them, so they gave the delivery on the third day.

I choose the bike to be Black and it is an awesome experience riding it. One thing that I most liked about the scooter is its pick up. Initially I faced some starting problems like when I slow down the accelerator bike stops but it was rectified by the mechanic and now the problem is gone. For the last 6 months I have been using this bike and let me tell you one thing that this little machine is just so amazing and comfortable though it is a little bulky for ladies. Mileage comes around 45-49kms/ltr in city traffic stop and start conditions but in high ways it is 50-55kms/ltr.

The on road price of Suzuki Access 125 here in Vijayawada is 54000/- and 2000/- for Accessories. Suzuki Access runs on a powerful mill, no noise just a wind like a sound coming during acceleration though it gives out a little noise during low speeds. I completed 2 servicing; they are taking 280/- for free servicing to change the engine oil.

It has a spacious seat and under seat space is also good and spacious. When compared to Honda Activa it is more comfortable, enjoyable and the price and waiting period also very less. The servicing guys quickly respond to my. The only thing I want to share is that this scooter is one value for money product and I loved it from the moment I laid my hands on it. The machine is so good that even my wife loves it.

I came to know from my friend that the service for the Honda Activa is very bad here. Suzuki Access boasts a list of accessories such as, front fender bending, leg shield bending, front box, inner mat, body colored grips and it goes on. Obviously all these additional parts will make the vehicle look trendier. Access has both the options that of self-start and kick start system.

The gauges and control system are traditional. The seats are comfortable and flat offering good support for the pillion rider. Performance wise Suzuki Access runs on a powerful mill so you don’t have to worry climbing uphill. It sports 125cc engine that produces 8.58bhp at 7000rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm which kind off make it a reasonably powerful amongst its peers.

The Access engine features XTP (Extra Torque and Performance) which is quite similar to Suzuki Zeus. Although Suzuki promises fuel efficiency of 60kmpl from its Access 125cc, we know about the test conditions (maybe downhill they are talking about…duh!). You should be just happy if your Access gives an economy of little more than 40kmpl. Finally I would say it is really a good bike and you will not regret if you choose Access over its peers.

Regards,

Original Source: Speculation – Suzuki’s New Sporty 150cc from BikeAdvice.in

Could this be the next 150cc from Suzuki? Will this Japanese head turner which actually plays a very silent game in India now launch this product in India? We are not sure, but Suzuki might be launching this bike in Thailand in a few months to come. The engine and certain other components are expected to be lifted from the existing 150cc, GS150R which is already in the Indian market. It could also be tuned to produce more horsepower as we think. Therefore chances are high that Suzuki might bring this bike in India too.

If launched in India this bike will take the Bajaj Pulsar’s and the Yamaha Fz’s head on. The Suzuki GS150R is a high displacement sport commuter which people have been longing for a very long time now.

The bike will be equipped with disc brakes at both front and rear and is expected to have extraordinary styling as compared to the other 150’s in the market. The naked look complimented by the muscular tank adds a punch to the overall styling of the bike.

If Suzuki manages to bring something similar to India then it will surely revive the popularity of the Suzuki brand in the country which has been doing very moderately. A mini GSXR is a recipe for success and gathering fan following! After all its just a speculation.

Disclaimer – The bike shown above only suggests how the 150cc motorcycle could look like. It isn’t an actual representation.

Original Source: Suzuki Zeus 125 – Review Of The Forgotten Bike from BikeAdvice.in

The Suzuki Zeus was the first motorcycle of Suzuki India that was launched in their comeback process to India after almost 5years they broke their trust with TVS. It was showcased first along with Suzuki Heat on 11th Jan at the Delhi Auto Expo 2006. But what took customers by surprise was that both the motorcycles had the same 125cc engine and was on the offering simultaneously.

Though the looks and styling of both the bikes differed but the engine, transmission and every other technical detail remained same for both the bikes. For Suzuki, it was more of like selling same flavors in different cones.

It took some time for the company to realize that they went for the wrong tactics and soon Heat disappeared from the scene almost as quickly as it arrived. And for the Zeus, it managed to keep some customers happy and stay here at last for the time being.

The Bike: The motorcycle may strike a chord in your heart with its elegant, charm and compact looks. Suzuki has desperately tried to bring the best of both worlds, Style and Mileage, so power has been neglected. Even its tagline says so- “More Style. Great Performance.” The 124cc 4stroke Engine produces a disappointing 8.7bhp giving you enough reasons to dump this bike and go for others in the same segment. Add to that a pickup that isn’t that quick 0-60kmph in 7.3secs. It has a top speed of about 98kmph.

Riding: With a wheelbase of 1240mm and 155mm ground clearance, you can ride it out with much comfort even though the bike doesn’t feature gas shock absorbers. The seats are quite ergonomic and offer large seating space. The brake shoes are Asbestos free which means only the best material available gets on to the bikes braking system. Tachometer is also provided on the instrument panel. Sporty cowl, Exciting body graphics, helmet holder, wider rear view mirrors and pass light flasher just goes on to improve the riding experience. The chrome plated bar end weights are provided to arrest vibration.

The fuel Tank capacity is 12 liters with 2.1 liters in reserve. This also ensures a wide popularity in the rural market where it is tough to frequently fill fuel due to paucity of many petrol stations. Styling: Sleek, modern and dynamic seems to be the theme for is styling. The engine is all aluminum and painted black. The silencers are sleek yet stylish and the turn indicators have clear lens on them. Other features on this bike includes a quality chrome polish with engine guard, bright multi reflector Halogen headlamp, one side handlebar lock, primary kick and Decompression system and bigger drum brakes. But one feature that you’ll surely love is its 5Spped gearbox (1 down 4up style) along with a unique gear shift indicator. Not to mention the bike also features Black alloy wheels which looks stunning on the all black version of the motorcycle.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Overall Length- 2040mm

Overall width- 770mm

Wheelbase- 1240mm

Ground clearance- 155mm

Overall height- 1120mm

Kerb weight- 120kg

Engine Type- 4stroke, Air cooled, OHC

Compression ratio- 9.6:1

Carburetor- VM18 Air cleaner- Non woven fabric element

Transmission- 5 speed constant mesh

Ignition- Electronic Ignition (CDI)

Spark Plug- NGK

Fuel tank- 12Litres (including reserve) Reserve- 2.1Litres

Though it may disappoint you in terms of output of power, but a little closer thought on this and people who care more about mileage will find it relatively easier to own. Thanks to the XTP (Extra Torque Performance) technology, the bike delivers 66kmpl on highways and 72kmpl on city roads. The XTP also ensures a good level of low end torque even with a pillion rider, say there is no knocking at top 5th gear even at 15-20kmph. Surprising isn’t it? The motorcycle is available in more variants than colors. While Red, Black and Silver (go for the black one) are its only colors, it is available in as many as four different variants to suit your needs and budget. Below are the variants at the ex-showroom Delhi prices

XCD Rs 47,989 Disc Self Alloy

XEU Rs 46,415 Drum Self Alloy

Suzuki Motorcycles India limited (SMIL) has pushed the ‘fire’ button. A few days back they launched the insane power maniacs, the torque laden Bandit and the super sports GSX1000R which goes in conjunction with the already available to us mortals, the almost immortal Hayabusa and Intruder. After covering the higher end of the spectrum, Suzuki has plans to focus on more Indian centric bikes. The automobile manufacturer has decided to enter the highly competitive and equally yielding 100cc segment which is currently dominated by Hero Honda followed by Bajaj.

Currently, Suzuki has the 150cc GS150R commuter motorcycle as its premium offering coupled with the 125cc Zeus in the motorcycle segment and the impressive 125cc Access in the scooter segment. Month on month Suzukis figures are spiraling to newer heights. To propel this growth further, Suzuki has decided to launch three new two wheelers in the coming 18 months. One of them surely will be the 125cc Slingshot, second one would be a 100cc commuter oriented bike while we have no clues about the third product currently. For the same reason, Suzuki has aggressive plans to double their production capacity to cater to the expected growth. Recently Suzuki piped Yamaha in the overall monthly sales figures for the month of May and have higher targets set for the coming months.

Original Source: Suzuki Motorcycles – Rise, Fall and Comeback Story from BikeAdvice.in

The SUZUKI Car Company has been largely credited for having brought in an automobile revolution to India. What started as a small scale joint venture with Matuti has now evolved into the India’s largest car manufacturing company.

But unfortunately their counterpart SUZUKI Motorcycle company never really enjoyed that much success in India. There was a time when their business looked all set and rocking, and then there were times when it was in a major crisis. And finally they had to pack off their bags and quit unceremoniously only to come back again 5 years Later.

WHERE THERE IS RISE, THERE IS A FALL- Well that seems to be the exact case in the 17year old joint venture between TVS and Suzuki. In 1984, Suzuki came together with TVS for the production of 100cc motorcycles under the name of Ind-Suzuki.

Subsequently in the moped division was bought by Ind Suzuki Motorcycles in 1987 and the company changed its name to TVS Suzuki Ltd. Suzuki was to provide technical assistance to TVS. Even though TVS had a wide range of products for offering including mopeds, scooters and motorcycles, the Suzuki collaboration was for the Motorcycles only. Soon sales started to pick up and the models were an instant hit.

The Max-100 motorcycles were very much success and reliable, so much that these motorcycles formed a base for further development of products for the company. In late 1990’s the company posted losses for the first time. Automobile analysts remarked TVS Suzuki’s products lagged behind in performance and fuel efficiency when compared to the other companies. A year later company lockout due to labor problems and it got a ‘practically sick company’ image. In 1992, a turnaround strategy was formulated. TVS-Suzuki then introduced five new models all of sudden which including Supra, Supra SS, Shogun, Samurai and Shaolin, which was India’s first 5speed 140cc motorcycle.

Aggressive marketing strategies were used and Special attention to skill development of managers, sales officers and service engineers were given. Number of Dealership outlets was reduced from 400 to 250. The move off and the company succeeded in making a turnover of Rs. 4.1billion and a net profit of Rs.300 million in the year 1994. It was a remarkable road of recovery. Soon the company rose to sparkling heights and was in close competition with Hero Honda. TVS-Suzuki was now India’s Second Largest two wheeler manufacturing company. Somewhere in the midst of the turnaround, Differences between the two surfaced up.

TVS accused Suzuki of creating roadblocks in the management and also strongly resisted the launch of Samurai and Shogun, both of which proved to be successful. Moreover Suzuki refused TVS, more funds and technology for new models to keep in pace with the competition.” Everything without exception had to be approved by Suzuki” said a TVS spokesman. “Joint ventures are like long-term friendships. They go through ups and downs.

Changes in circumstances and expectations may cause tensions in the joint venture. But if you have a robust working relationship, whatever be the tension, you don’t go and shout from the rooftops. You keep negotiating, fighting internally, hammering it out and finally arrive at something that both can live with.” said Mr Venu Srinivasan, Managing Director of TVS-Suzuki, in an interview for Business Line, in 1996, when asked about his experience of working in a joint venture and reports of tension among the partners.

Soon the official version came out in public. It is said that Suzuki Demands were VETO Rights over aspects of management and in Decision-making process, Restrictions on Exports, Conditions to restrict use of Local Components, Compulsory Import of all Dyes and Capital equipments from Suzuki and Payment of Royalty for an indefinite period. TVS Straight-away resisted all of these demands. The Government decided not to interfere in the issue and soon TVS-Suzuki witnessed Huge Decline in sales. The Indian Motorcycle segment shifted four stroke models and TVS-Suzuki lost out on Huge Demand.

Then Suzuki expressed desire to increase the Equity holding and in August, 2001 they entered an agreement with Kawasaki for Product Development, Design Engineering and Manufacturing. TVS saw this as a direct conflict of interest. And finally in September, 2001 TVS-SUZUKI announced their breakup. TVS bought the 25.97% stake of Suzuki for Rs.90 million, increasing its stake to 58.43%. The stylish 150ccc Fiero was the last product of TVS-Suzuki. It was a celebration time for other companies as the company with Suzuki’s omission didn’t seem to head anywhere and TVS will prove to be a weaker company in the years ahead.

The Suzuki Motorcycles abandoned all its operations and left the country only to renter India five years later. From there on, they have been on a slow and steady course and are working towards building a good company image. Maybe the fact that Suzuki brand has a major customer recall as a car maker could help in bringing customers to its showroom.

Recently they launched a wide array of their international motorcycles including the prestigious Hayabusa, Gixxer 1000 and Bandit. As of 2010, the company seems to travelling on a positive track and has seven products on the offering. Looks like Time has changed for them now, But before that they will have to face the heat from Hero Honda and Bajaj, top two manufacturers in the country, not to mention their old friend TVS who are now third on that list.

Original Source: Suzuki Launches Bandit 1250S and GSX-R 1000 from BikeAdvice.in

Pheww! Where and how do we start, we are feeling restless in bringing this news to our viewers. After liter class insanities from Japanese majors Yamaha and Honda, Suzuki joins the bandwagon with their liter class heavenly handsome GSX-R 1000 and the most practical super street bike in India, Bandit 1250S. Suzuki has launched these beauties for us, the Indians. It must be known that Suzuki already has the once world’s fastest production commercial motorcycle, the big daddy of them all, GSX-R 1300 popularly known as Hayabusa in the Indian market along with the mighty Intruder.

With the inclusion of these bikes, Suzuki now have 4 superbikes in India- Hayabusa, Intruder M1800R, Bandit 1250S and GSX-R 1000, the most on offer from a single manufacturer. The full faired liter class wonder from Suzuki is a race track oriented bike which directly competes with bikes of the likes of R1s, CBRs, ZXRs etc on the tracks. On the other hand semi faired Bandit is more of a street machine and highway tourer which weighs a hefty 250 kilograms on the tipping scale and is adored by stunt maniacs the most.

The GSXR produces a maddening power output of 191 hp @ 12000 rpm from its 999cc engine. On the other hand is the torque monster Bandit which produces around 100 hp of power output at 7900 rpm and torque of 108 Nm at an amazingly low rpm of 3750 with its 1255cc engine.

The hooligan Bandit will be available in two color tones- Metallic Gleam Gray and Pearl Nebular Black. GSX-R 1000 will be made available in two color combos as well, Glass Splash White/Metallic Mat Stellar Blue and Solid Black/ Metallic Mat Titanium Silver. Now comes the interestingly good part. Both the bikes are kept at competitive prices. GSX-R 1000 will retail for 12.75 lakhs and the Bandit would be yours at an unbelievable price tag of 8.5 lakhs ONLY! (Both prices ex showroom Pune). The Yamahas and Hondas sell their liter class racers R1 and Fireblade at above 14 lakh INR. With such a luring price tag, Bandit now becomes the cheapest and, hence, the most affordable superbike in India beating the 1000cc Honda CB1000R which sells at 10.21 lakhs (ex showroom Mumbai). As we hear, bookings have already started and do we see a few of you dropping and heading straight to a Suzki showroom right away?

Original Source: Suzuki Access 125cc Review from BikeAdvice.in

After the introduction of Zeus and the Heat motorcycles, Suzuki came out with a new scooter in the Indian market; Suzuki Access 125cc. The vehicle is braced with air-cooled and a four-stroke engine that has a CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission). The scooter features a typical Japanese design with the indicators studded on the apron. On the whole the vehicle has made attempts to draw similarities from Honda Activa in terms of ergonomics, styling and the design.

Looks and New Additions: Suzuki Access 125cc is not designed for one sex unlike Kinetic Flyte or Scooty. This powerful scooter is for metrosexual person for daily hassle free commuting. The scooter has a longer wheelbase that gives it more of a compact look. The mirrors do not match the body color and the paint used for vehicle is superb in quality. The finishing also appears near to perfection and the non-metallic body is only one more addition in the wagon next generation scooters. It does have its own plus making it one rust-free scooter. Suzuki Access also sports funky foot pegs. What is great is it’s under seat storage. Access beats active in that aspect and provides ample under seat storage of say about 20-liter capacity that can hold your helmet and simple daily groceries. The scooter features modern telescopic front suspension with multi-reflector headlamp. It also comes with electric start option and a fuel gauge and speedometer.

Suzuki Access boasts a list of accessories such as, front fender bending, leg shield bending, front box, inner mat, body coloured grips and it goes on. Obviously all these additional parts will make the vehicle look trendier. Access has both the options that of self-start and kick start system. The gauges and control system are traditional. The seats are comfortable and flat offering good support for the pillion rider.

Performance: Suzuki Access runs on a powerful mill so you don’t have to worry climbing an uphill. Its 125cc engine that promotes 8.58bhp at 7000rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm can take you effortlessly. The Access engine features XTP (Extra Torque and Performance) that is quite similar to Suzuki Zeus. Although Suzuki promises fuel efficiency of 60kmpl from its Access 125cc, we know of the test conditions (maybe downhill they are talking about…duh!) because you should be just happy if your access gives an economy of little more than 40kmpl.
The Suzuki Access 125cc is fitted with 120mm drum brakes, and the tyres used at the front and the rear is 90/100-10. The suspension of the vehicle is contemporary telescopic at the front. But at the rear it is swing arm. The ignition key is designed with a shutter system and the choke knob can easily be detected. But let me tell you that the pick-up and the problem-free start of Suzuki Access are far better than the Honda Activa. The vehicle seems to cruise smoothly through potholes and braking is up to the mark. Suzuki Access also give little noise at high speeds unlike Honda Activa.

Colour and Pricing: I haven’t seen some of the colors of Suzuki Access 125 cc on the road, but it does come in five colours- candy antares red, metallic silver, metallic euclase silver, metallic grey and pearl nebular black. Suzuki Access 125 cc is priced at Rs. 44,850 and it also could be one deterrent in giving a competition to Activa.

Final Word: Suzuki Access has a competitor in the segment of 125cc engine- in Kinetic Flyte, which is more practical and has more features so it becomes hard to choose Access over Flyte. And people who already own the Activa or the TVS’ Scooty may not be very keen to replacing their vehicles, if ever they will look forward to upgrade maybe to Nano.

Suzuki Access’ tagline of ‘Sabki Wish Kari Poori’ does not seem to live to peoples expectations and doesn’t cater to the needs of everybody. Although the build and performance of the scooter is definitely better than the other 100cc vehicles in the 4-stroke scooter market, people may still not choose the Suzuki Access 125cc. The reason could well be because of the higher price or even a personal choice. Whatever be the reason, one may opt for an understated look of the Honda Activa than the Suzuki Access 125cc.

Original Source: Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR Review from BikeAdvice.in

Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR looks and performs like ultimate in the two-wheeled legend of motorbikes. It’s unique and different as it has a class of its own providing all its riders with unlimited excitement, wind-cheating aerodynamics, awesome acceleration and above all seamless comfort in long distance rides. It has thus rightly been termed with a new classification: Ultimate sports tourer. Therefore, Suzuki markets the Hayabusa 1300 GSXR bike as the ultimate sports machine. The name Hayabusa has been coined from Japanese Peregrine Falcon that travels with an amazing 300kmph speed. Hayabusa is also referred to Japanese very fast train. Maybe a look into this review about the bike you will know if it is rightfully named as Hayabusa.

Looks: Besides its strange name, Hayabusa appeals to people with its bulbous styling. The length of this motorcycle is 2195mm, width is 740mm and the overall height stands at 1170mm. Not a small one by any standards as the weight is gigantic 220kg. This Busa can be seen in many colors such as Solid Black/Metallic Majestic gold and Pearl Nebular Black/Metallic Phantom Gray.

With its advanced aerodynamic styling, new swing arm, vertical stacked head light, LED taillight and redesigned instrument cluster, all adds up to give a new look to the first generation Hayabusa to be relaunched in India. The look is further enhanced with detailed finishing such as passenger footpeg brackets and muffler hangers evoking Japanese form of feudal art.

Is it possible to handle a Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR under Indian conditions? The India roads are typically characterized by congestion, some narrow lanes and by lanes apart from highways. To slow down this machine in the busy traffic-congested roads, Suzuki improvised with a new feature that is the four pistons Dual Tokico calipers. This enhances capability and helps slowing down the speed of Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR, the mean machine. The steering movement has been further improved and quickened by reducing the brake disc size such that one can maneuver this iconic machine with some decent ease.

Furthermore, the ergonomics of Hayabusa 1300 have been made slimmer allowing increased free movement for the riders. The best feature for Indian condition is Suzuki drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) which allows the rider to choose from varied engine power according to riding conditions and individual preference. Top performance of Hayabusa 1300 GSXR can be enjoyed in a variety of riding conditions.

Performance: The new Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR is equipped with muscular four cylinders, liquid-cooled DOHC 1300cc engine with the latest version of engine capacity increased to 1340cc. The engine is so designed to provide with maximum acceleration with the least possible effort while controlling emission. The cylinder sealing is improved with PVD (chrome-nitride Physical Vapor Deposition) for reduced friction. The heat transfer and durability is further accentuated with SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) cylinder coating. The titanium valves placed on the single valve springs allows accurate valve control and also helps reducing reciprocating mass.

The fuel injection system is new and improved with SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) that guarantees better mileage, reduced emission and definitely improved power delivery. One can ride Hayabusa 1300cc with slightly light clutch pull as it comes equipped with SCAS (Suzuki Clutch Assist System) that act more as a back torque, limiting the machine for smoother downshifts. The carbon-monoxide emission from this beastly machine is further reduced by Suzuki Pulsed-secondary Air Injection System (PAIR) to meet Euro-3 and TIER 2 emission regulation standards.

The instrument cluster of the new Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR comes with four analog gauges including speedometer and tachometer, odometer and a even gear position indicator. With fuel capacity of 21 litres and 6-speed constant mesh transmission Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR is certainly one of the world’s fastest bikes.

Price: The price range of this super bike Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR is Rs. 12.5 lacs certainly eliminating many bike lovers to lay their hands on the machine’s throttle.

Final Verdict: It isn’t bragging, but simple truth proved by mere tech specs and facts that the new Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR is obsessively engineered with technology and designed to appeal everyone as a masterpiece. The bike is dotted with incredible performance and great styling you will just have to see and ride once to believe it.

In the world of motorcycles, Hayabusa is a name that’s always reckoned with speed style and superiority over other bikes and the new Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 GSXR truly lives to the tagline of ultimate sports machine with sleek, long and low look.

Original Source: Suzuki GS150R Photo Review from BikeAdvice.in

Today I went to the Suzuki Showroom to checkout whether I could have a test drive of the new GS150R. I was informed that I would get the ride only by January 2009. I will post a road test review by January first week. Until then, lets feast on these beautiful photos. You can click on the images to have an enlarged high resolution view.

Headlamp and Doom: Suzuki GS150R‘s headlight is a new and different design. Its sharp edges gives it a devilish look. Look at the tell-tale lights, don’t they look like horns!!

The Tank: The tank is a macho one. Even though it is not as large as the Pulsar’s, it does a good job of giving the rider a big bike feel. Can hold upto 15.5 litres. And its all metal, not like the FZ16!

Dashboard: The instrument panel looks really good and one of the outstanding features of this bike. It shows gear position, fuel level, speed, ODO meter and the tachometer is a neat dial adjacent to the digital console. Here is a short video that I took while exploring the bike’s digital console. Click the play button to see the bike come to life.

The Tail Lamps: The tail lamp is not a bulb! They are made up of light emitting diodes (LED) and looks really beautiful. As you can see, the signals are not hanging out, its moulded into the tail part as we see in CBZ Xtreme.

Suspension: With all the latest bikes such as FZ16 featuring mono suspension, this bike has the old model dual suspension which is a bit disappointing. However they have the ‘gas’ thing

Exhaust: Neat and clean design. Build quality is very good.

Overall: Not majestic, but still looks good. Beats Unicorn and Pulsar because of the cool digital console and better styling. Has an advantage of being a Suzuki which is well known for its high end bikes in other developed countries.
