XCD 135, very problematic, common problems are back light, silencer, engine vibration, 50-60kmpl. don't go for it. Toooo much maintenance.

xcd 135 i an masterpiece in its class, its tops in technology wat it is build of. best millage compared to stunner, passion or shine. i own xcd135 i have completed happy one year with my dear bike, completed 20,000 KMS already( no problems at all )and am an intense user of bike daily i commute 50KMS, 25 in city and 25 on highway, it performs really good on both roads, millage is around 65 KMPL if use in economy mode, ie within 45-50kmph, i reached 111KMPH without any vibrations and no loss of handling, i wont get tired even after a long ride its comfortable to ride,

only 3 things would have been improved
1> small front disc brake would have been bit bigger
2> suspension is bit bumpy coz of its long wheelbase
3> improvement in power ( not a priority as it looses mileage)

finally , i love my xcd135 ,its perfect for mileage, avg power, stylish( best looking in class),comfort( most comfortable bike in class).

thank you,

Bajaj engines are designed keeping the mileage factor in the mind. Of course Mileage is a key factor for we Indians, but it wont help every time. We need to think about safety too in a bike
People who are planning to buy bikes , any Segment, try to test ride the bikes in your list

Hero Honda showrooms in Bangalore wont give a test ride
Bajaj i think Yes
TVS will give test ride
Yamaha will give test rides for 150cc bikes.
Honda and Suzuki is open to all

hi,
im vinod and purchased the bajaj xcd 135 in feb,2009 already completed 1year & 1 months and my bike has completed around 7500kms. i have got all the free service done in time .till now i have not face any technical ar any problem with the bike.
mileage is also between 62-65 in city.
there is no problem with the speedometer, lights and other thing.
till now i have spend only RS 20 for replacing the side stand spring which was lost, other than the oil change in every service.
hence as far as im concerned i fill it is a very stylish bike since i found many people asking me about the price and milagae and this bikes always makes the people to look it atleast twice.
my bike colour is greenis black.
im extremly hapy with my bike.
thanks to bajaj for this creation.
