It features an all-aluminium 109.6cc M-TEC engine which produces 8 bhp of power at 7500rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine boasts of a stronger crankshaft and bearings, high inertia magneto, high energy HT coil and series regulator to deliver fairly decent amount of power and torque, without losing out on fuel efficiency (going by the ARAI figures). The company claims a mileage of 63.1 kmpl, the highest in its class.

Gusto is India’s first scooter to have a height adjustable seat which allows the rider to change the seat height as per his convenience. The list of segment first features continues with Remote flip key, Find-Me lamps, Guide lamps, LED pilot lamps and a quick storage compartment near the instrument cluster.

The scooter also gets an easy front kick so that the rider does not have to get off the scooter, put it in main stand and then kick start the engine (obviously if the starter crank has failed for some reason).

Carrying the reminiscence of the Kinetic Italiano Blaze, the Gusto boasts of an Italian styling with 100 per cent localisation of parts! The base variant DX has been priced at Rs 43,000 while the fully loaded VX variant costs Rs 47,000 (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
